Cohen Asset Management Leasing Activity; Q3 2020

Cohen Asset Management, a Los Angeles based private equity real estate investment firm and an owner-operator of income-producing industrial and logistics real estate, executed several new leases and amendments on behalf of several of its affiliate companies to extend occupancy during the 3rd Quarter of 2020.

Phoenix, Arizona

Latham Industrial LLC recently executed a 5-year lease renewal with Circle K Stores Inc. (“Circle K”) for space located at 8313 W. Latham Lane in Tolleson, Arizona. Founded in El Paso Texas in 1951, Circle K has grown into an international chain of convenience stores known worldwide for quality products and great customer service. The company has more than 14,800 stores and over 40,000 employees worldwide. Cushman and Wakefield represented the Landlord and Jones Lang LaSalle represented the Tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

CAM Investment 392 LLC recently executed a 5-year lease with Wastequip, LLC (“Wastequip”) for space located at 7225 W. Sherman Street in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1989, Wastequip is the leading manufacturer of waste handling equipment in North America. Headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. with over 2,000 employees and 38 facilities, Wastequip has built a reputation for manufacturing expertise and product innovation. Privately held, Wastequip is the only manufacturer to offer a full line of steel and plastic products to collect, handle and transport just about any type of waste and recyclables. Colliers International represented the Landlord and Cushman and Wakefield represented the Tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

CAM Investment 376 LLC and NOVI Industrial Capital LLC recently executed a 3-year lease with Smartbiz LLC d/b/a Premier Distribution for space located at 8399 W. Van Buren Street in Tolleson, Arizona. Based in Arizona, Premier Distribution began operating in 2016 and is an authorized distributor of Boing products, which it delivers directly to restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets and wholesalers. CBRE represented both Landlord and Tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

Dallas, Texas

356 Midway Venture LLC recently executed a new lease with Lucas Dooley dba DW Fabrications for space located at 7336-B Dogwood Park in Richland Hills, Texas. Lucas Dooley dba DW Fabrications specializes in custom props, set designs, murals and furniture for individual and corporate clients. Lincoln Property Company represented the Landlord and the tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

356 Midway Venture LLC recently executed a new lease with Traylor Remodeling LLC for space located at 7350 Dogwood Park in Richland Hills, Texas. Traylor Remodeling LLC specializes in residential renovations and construction. Lincoln Property Company represented the Landlord and the tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

Rodney Dorman specializes in design build services for water parks and water lift stations. Lincoln Property Company represented the Landlord and the tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

356 Midway Venture LLC recently executed a new lease with Security Data Supply of Dallas, LLC for space located at 7346 Dogwood Park in Richland Hills, Texas. Security Data Supply of Dallas, LLC is an independent distributor of low voltage products, primarily focused on the security industry. Lincoln Property Company represented the Landlord and Wingert Real Estate represented the tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

356 Midway Venture LLC recently executed a lease renewal and expansion with MK Custom Roofing, Inc. for space located at 7351 and 7353 Airport Freeway in Richland Hills, Texas. MK Custom Roofing, Inc. provides roofing for new residential construction and master planned communities. Lincoln Property Company represented the Landlord and the tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

356 Midway Venture LLC recently executed a lease renewal with Fetch Package, Inc. for space located at 7445 Tower Street in Richland Hills, Texas. Fetch Package provides package management services for multifamily apartment communities. Lincoln Property Company represented the Landlord and Altschuler Company represented the tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.

Valwood Portfolio 391 LLC, Fleisher Family Trust A TIC Member LLC, Fleisher Family Trust C TIC Member LLC, Millman TIC Member LLC, recently executed a lease with Berger Engineering, Inc. for space located at 1617 W. Crosby Road, Carrollton, Texas. Berger Engineering is a nationally recognized provider for major mechanical installations. Lincoln Property Company represented the Landlord and CBRE Group represented the tenant in the industrial real estate transaction.
